Moses – Deuteronomy 31–34

Sunday, June 9: Moses

Deuteronomy 31–34

If you knew that you were coming to the end of your life, and you had one last chance to share a word of wisdom with your family, what would you say?

How would you summarize your life in one lesson? Would you share a mistake you made that you didn’t want to see your children repeat? Would you share something your parents told you that was key to your success? Would you warn them? Challenge them? Encourage them?

This week we will finish our series on the life of Moses. Moses was one of the most significant people in the history of faith. If you were to create a Mount Rushmore of Old Testament saints, he would be on it. The first 5 books of the Bible are attributed to him, making him responsible for almost as much of the Bible as the entire New Testament—more than all four Gospels and everything written by Paul put together.

So, what did his life mean?

If we were to summarize Moses’ entire life in one lesson, what would it be?

We get the answer in Deuteronomy 31-34. Join us this week as we finish up our series on the life of Moses! See you then!

<Spoiler alert: he dies at the end.>
