Find God. Be a Friend. Make a Difference.

Are you considering a visit to Believers Fellowship? Great! We would love to see you here. Have some questions? Here are answers to a few of the more common ones so that you might know what to expect.

Where is the church located? What time does it start?

Believers Fellowship is located at 4112 Hunt St NW, Gig Harbor, WA 98335. In-person services are at 9:00 & 11:00 a.m. Both are broadcast online.

What should I wear?

We are a pretty casual church. There is no dress code, and people are comfortable in either shorts, jeans or slacks. If you wear a tie, you might be asked to take it off since you will be making the pastor look bad.

What is the worship style?

Our musical worship style and sound varies week to week. We don’t ever want to put a lid on our creative potential in the corporate worship gatherings, we value diversity and individuality in our musicians and worship leaders, because the church is made up of diverse and unique individuals. We love to sing as a church! We believe that something special happens when we all get together and sing truth and remind ourselves of the reality of the God that we worship. If gathered worship as a church body is the destination, music is the vehicle that gets us there.

What is the teaching like?

We use a team-teaching model, and we rotate between teaching books of the Bible and topics. Matt Edwards and Jeremiah Hinton teach the majority of the time. Below are some sample sermons so you can learn what to expect. Click here for more sermon audio.

What about my kids?

While the whole family worships together for the first portion of the service, we have excellent preschool, children’s and youth programs during the second half of the service (the teaching time). We will let you know when it is time for them to head to their respective classrooms. Children’s Ministry meets during both services. Fifth Grade and Middle school meets during the 11:00 service only. High school students stay in for teaching time. A nursery is available for kids under four throughout both services. For more information about these programs, click on the following links: Children’s Ministry, Middle School, High School. We use an electronic check in system to help keep our kids safe. Stop by the Welcome Desk to check in your child if this is your first visit. A short video on how it all works so you know what to expect is below.

Will I be asked to give any money?

No. While we encourage the people who regularly attend Believers Fellowship to give toward the continuation of its ministry, we never pass an offering plate. Offering boxes are located in the back of the worship space for anyone who wishes to give or you can visit our online giving page.

Will I have to stand up and say anything?

Nope. We know that church can be a scary place if you’re not used to it, and we are completely fine with you sneaking in the back and checking us out before you get more involved.

How Do I Get Involved?

Come and visit us at the Welcome Desk to grab one of several brochures or ask us questions. We use Church Center to sign up for groups or register for events. You can learn all about it by following this link.
