Life Entwined – Worship

Sunday, September 5: Life Entwined

Worship

Paul Tripp wrote, “Human beings by their very nature are worshipers. Worship is not something we do; it defines who we are. You cannot divide human beings into those who worship and those who don’t. Everybody worships; it’s just a matter of what, or whom, we serve.”

The difference between a concert, however enjoyable, engaging, and even God-honoring, and the practice of Christian worship is where the attention is focused. Like flashlights forever in the “on” position, we can’t help make known, ascribe worth to, and make much of something.

While Christian worship comes in as many forms, styles, and expressions as there are people who offer that worship up, it is uniformly centered on God.

The deepest of realities is that God is the only being worthy of our worship, even though the world that we live in often invites us to shine our lights on lesser things.

Join us this Sunday as we worship God.

Service times are at 9:30 & 11:00. If you can’t make it in person, you can watch live at those times.
