The Tacoma Rescue Mission (TRM) has been offering God’s Help, Hope and Healing to the most impoverished members of our community since 1912. They help all people, including clients, volunteers, donors and staff, to become their best. The mission provides emergency services such as shelter and food to the homeless or hurting; offer self-sufficiency programs to help lift a person from poverty and break the chains of addiction; support prevention programs and share our Christian faith.
This month, we are featuring the Tacoma Rescue Mission as our charity of the month. Your gift of any amount makes a difference for the men and women who are hurting and homeless in Tacoma & Pierce County. You may make a monetary donation using the Give page on our website or by using the Church Center app or web page.
In addition, Believers Fellowship is holding a Serve Day on Sunday, June 12 from 12:30 – 6:00 p.m.
OUR PART– TRM is in the last stages of renovating their kitchen facilities and are in need of packed meals so that they can still serve the community! Our job will be to prepare and pack at BF, then deliver & serve at TRM. We encourage families to join, but ask that if you decide to bring kids, they be at least age 10 (childcare is not provided).
