Sunday, March 3: Moses
And he said, “Say this to the people of Israel: ‘I am has sent me to you.’”
I love God’s response. “I know all about that, but I’ll be with you.” In other words, “Who are you, Moses? You’re the one who has God with you.”
When you stop to think about it, that changes everything, doesn’t it? If God is with me how can I fail? But Moses doesn’t stop to think about it. After all, he’s still talking to a shrub and before he goes to back to Egypt to convince the Hebrews that they should join him on the suicide mission of a slave rebellion, he wants a little more information.
So, Moses asks a question and the Lord reveals to him one of the most profound truths in the Bible. It’s not about Moses. It’s not about who he is. It’s about God. It’s about who HE is. See you on Sunday.
