John 17:6–19

We have the privilege of seeing how and what Jesus prayed for the night he was arrested. And guess what? He prayed for us! When Jesus prays for his disciples, and the ones that come after them, we see his desire for us. His desire for us is to persevere in the faith and be kept by the Father.

Jesus prays that his followers will be kept in God’s name. We are in the world…but we are not of the world. Our lives are to be marked by unity and joy.

Jesus prays that we are kept from the evil one. There are pressures all around us to conform to this world’s standard of living…but we are set apart for God. We do this through the truth of God’s word.

Jesus prays that we be sent into the world as He was. Jesus was not sent to judge the world…but to display God’s love. We are set apart for the world to see love, compassion, forgiveness and grace through our lives!

Join us this Sunday as we worship God through song and scripture.
Service times are at 9:00 & 11:00. If you can’t make it in person, you can watch live at those times.
