This week we come to our last message in “The Gospel of Ruth.” It has been quite an adventure. There has been a lot of uncertainty and tension, not to mention a lot of heartache, sadness and loss. This Sunday, however, it all comes together for good. We left off last week with Boaz stepping in to be Naomi’s kinsmen redeemer. It was touch and go… but at the end of the day he was able to save the farm and the family. In that way, Boaz became a kind of savior to both Ruth and Naomi. Best of all, Boaz now gets to marry the woman who walked out of his dreams on the threshing room floor, and into his heart – sweet Ruthie. But this is not the end of the story. Not even close!
