Jon Lucas

Jon serves as the Student Ministries Director at Believers Fellowship, leading the spiritual growth of students in grades 6–12 through weekly programs, events, and leadership development. He also supports parents and collaborates with other ministries when needed.

Originally from Nevada, Jon graduated from Multnomah University in 2015 with a BA in Youth Ministry and Bible/Theology. He served as a Children’s Ministry Associate in Reno and interned at Northwest Gospel Church in Washington before coming to Believers Fellowship in 2018. Jon and his wife Julia live in Gig Harbor with their dog, Gus.

Jon’s favorite tradition at BF is the Middle School Family Mission Trip, where students and their families serve together at local nonprofits—a weekend that combines faith, family, and community impact.

Outside of church, Jon enjoys reading fantasy and sci-fi, photography, traveling, disc golf, and music (especially metal).

Jon’s secret super-skill: A fierce ping-pong game, honed in the battles of college dorm life.
