  Believers Fellowship Counseling

Believers Fellowship recognizes that healthy relationships are key to human flourishing. Those struggling within their marriage, and/or struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety or anything else, are encouraged to seek out Christians within the body with whom to share their struggles. “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7). Elders, Women’s Ministry leaders, Life Group leaders, and others within the body may all be sought out for assistance. To be a Christian is to struggle. Burdens are not meant to be born alone.

Additionally, Believers Fellowship recognizes and celebrates the role that professional counseling has played in transforming the lives of individuals and marriages within our body.

Need Help?

If you have seen a counselor in the local area, we would love for you to fill out this anonymous five-minute survey.

As we hear feedback from others within our church, we plan to maintain a list of excellent counselors to recommend.

The healing and growth that come from excellent counseling are well worth the emotional and monetary cost. Many health insurance plans cover the cost of counseling, but some do not. Regardless, we do not want finances to get in the way of counseling for those who are part of our church. The Counseling Fund may be used to provide partial counseling reimbursement to those who need it. This fund may be replenished anonymously by anybody at any time via designated giving.

We understand the sensitive nature of counseling. Chad Van Someren and Camille Wade would love to talk confidentially to anyone about the benefits of counseling, answer any billing or partial reimbursement questions, or hear feedback regarding counselors in the area. Click or tap here to read a document prepared by Camille, explaining some initial steps in the counseling process.
