Hebrews 11 Hall Of Faith- Wilderness Living

16 baptisms last Sunday! God is on the move and it was such a blessing to witness these public declarations of faith in Jesus!  

Speaking of faith, this coming Sunday we'll kick off our sermon series on Hebrews 11, known as the Hall of Faith. All of us who believe in Jesus have been saved and are bound for heaven, but we're not there yet. We're in the wilderness bound for the Promised Land. How do we survive in the wilderness?

  "...the righteous shall live by his faith," we read in Habakkuk.

The author of Hebrews quotes this verse before launching into a description of what it means to live a life of faith--complete with example after example of Old Testament believers trusting God's word and promises. "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen" (Heb 11:1).

 What does it look like for you to live a life of faith this summer?
