Habakkuk 1: 12-17

Wrestling With God’s Justice

If God is good and God is all-powerful, why is there evil?

How do God's sovereignty and man's responsibility fit together?

These are age-old philosophical questions. They also become deeply personal when we experience pain and witness suffering.  Habakkuk asks:  If God is pure and holy, how could he use the obviously evil Babylonians to carry out judgment on his own chosen people?

Join us this Sunday as we ask this question alongside Habakkuk. We will wrestle with the problem of pain, consider the process we should follow when things don't make sense, and reflect upon God's purposes in using pain for his glory and our good.
