Christ At The Crossroads - Stewardship

Matthew 25: 14-30

This week’s Crossroads focuses on Jesus’ teaching about what the Kingdom of God is like. In this parable, a master leaves on a journey, entrusting his assets to his servants. How they manage what they are given is key.

Each of us has been bought with a price; our lives are not our own. There will be an accounting at the end of our lives. What will we hear from God?  Will we hear, “Well done, my good and faithful servant?”

Every Christian is a steward. As soon as we trust in Jesus as our Savior, we also trust Him as our Lord. As Paul says, we are bond-servants of Christ. Everything we do, say, and think should be shaped with Him in mind. Our time, treasure, and talents are not ours—they have been entrusted to us by Jesus to manage. An audit is in order. Let’s walk through this sobering passage together.
