Jesus experienced this a lot. People tried to “trap” Him, hoping to undermine His popularity. But Jesus doesn’t play those games. He has a black belt in Kung Fu of the mind. When asked about paying taxes, He masterfully guided the conversation so everyone understood. When asked about the greatest commandment, He gave a masterclass in the Old Testament law. 

 A hot topic in Jesus’ day—the one the Pharisees hoped would divide His followers—was marriage and divorce. And get this…Jesus actually answers the question. More than that, He elevates the conversation to God’s design and intent.
