Christ At The Crossroads - Life After Death

Easter Sunday

We have been in a Crossroads series for the past few months—looking at how Jesus meets us at the crossroads of temptation, obedience, marriage, and miracles. Some crossroads we might face…others are certain. One of these is death. Death is a certainty for all. 

But Easter changes everything! 

Because of the resurrection of Jesus, life looks different. Because of the resurrection of Jesus…death looks different too! Because Jesus rose from the dead we can ask “Death where is your victory?” 

The direct evidence of Jesus rising from the dead speaks volumes. The circumstantial evidence turns the volume up even more! We see the changed lives of the disciples, the growth of the early church and thousands of years of history overturned—all evidence that Jesus rose from the dead. 

Do we allow this truth to spur us on, today? Will we take a fresh look at our lives and how we are living in light of Jesus being raised to life? Our life and death look different because of the death and life of Jesus.
