A Living Faith: The Book Of James (James 2: 14-27)

The culture we live in tends to put Christians under a microscope.
Oftentimes, when people hear that I am a Christian…they start to watch. They look at my life to see if my actions follow my words. If I claim to have faith in Jesus, do I offer more than just ‘thoughts and prayers’?
Is it fair for them to do that? If I don’t seem to offer more than ‘thoughts and prayers,’ does that mean I am not really a Christian?
We enter a portion in James that talks about faith and works. It is about a living faith compared with a dead one. The autopsy of our heart continues with the examination of this paradox, in showing the world our faith by showing the world our deeds. If you have avoided these verses or wondered how to understand them, please come and learn with us as we unpack the relationship between faith in Christ and works of faith.
