Who is This Man

Who is This Man – Mathew 16:13–17 & Luke 4:16–21

Sunday, August 20: Who is This Man?

Mathew 16:13–17 & Luke 4:16–21

Messiah

It has been said that “the identity of Jesus is something like a jigsaw puzzle. It’s a puzzle that has been placed in every person’s hands to piece together before coming to some kind of conclusion.”In a sense, this is what we have been doing in our summer study series based on the life of Jesus called, “Who Is This Man?” Each week, for the past several weeks, we have been turning over another piece of the puzzle. Each piece helps us put together a more complete picture of who Jesus is and what he came to do.

You can call the puzzle piece we are putting into place this week, “The Messiah.” And in our text from Matthew 16, Jesus asks his disciples the question prompted by our study and that every person, in every generation, must answer: “Who do you say that I am?” See you on Sunday!
