Ephesians 2:1–10

Ephesians 2:1–10 is one of the most famous passages ever penned by Paul. In it, the apostle succinctly explains God’s work in our lives through the death and resurrection of Jesus. It’s a familiar passage to many of us (and for good reason!).But, like the ideas of many familiar passages, it’s easy for the theology of Ephesians 2 to stay in our heads and not make its way into our hearts. For this passage, that’s a big deal, because what you think about grace and how you picture your identity in Christ shapes your attitude toward God. In fact, if we get this wrong, we inevitably get angry with God.

When Jesus died and rose again, He did so not just to open a door to eternal life or show us the way to eternal life, but to make us alive. That’s pretty awesome, and it should revolutionize the way we think about ourselves, our God, and the people around us.

Join us this week as we dive into these classic words by Paul and reflect on the glory that is ours in Christ.

See you on Sunday!
