We are partnering with 4US to purchase an ultrasound machine for a crisis pregnancy center like Care Net! 4US is a great event–there is a walk, a run, and a bike ride. Plus, there is a ton of fun stuff (bounce houses, food, etc.) for kids!
We have longstanding relationships with both 4US and Care Net. Research suggests 96% of women who see an ultrasound of their baby choose life, and 4US has made it their mission to get one into as many pregnancy centers as possible. We love these guys!
An anonymous donor in the church is matching funds dollar for dollar, plus the Knights of Columbus match every dollar 4US raises, so your donation is multiplied by four!
You can join the team, donate, or both here. Matt Edwards is running the half marathon, and we usually have some runners, bikers, and walkers there from the church. The main event is on Saturday, August 13th at Fort Steilacoom Park in Lakewood. If you want more, they also have events on Friday the 12th.
