Believers Fellowship - Home Groups

What's better than friends discussing God's goodness over a warm cup of coffee? Not much. That is the concept behind our home groups—the backbone of community life at Believers Fellowship. Groups meet at homes to pray and study (and often to eat!). Some groups elect to dig in to the scriptures, while others prefer to base their discussions on a Christian book or video series.

When choosing a home group, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. First, are you interested in a Bible study or a book study? Second, where do you live? We have groups in Gig Harbor, Fox Island, Raft Island, and Tacoma. Finally, what day of the week works for you? Some of our groups meet on the weekend and some during the week. While you may not be able to find a group that fits your interests perfectly, we have enough diversity that you should be able to find a group that helps you flourish.

Steve and Debi DePaul — Friday night group meeting in Gig Harbor. Sermon-based group.  High School and older.

Davey and Nora Bentler — Sunday evening group in Gig Harbor. Reading Great Parents, Lousy Lovers by Gary Smalley and Ted Cunningham.  Childcare on site.

Dave and Melanie Heldoorn — Friday night group in Gig Harbor. Using Navigators model.  Childcare  on site.

Henry and Arla Hoffman — Sunday night group in Gig Harbor. Studying the Book of Romans.  Adults only.

Tim and Jem Brown — Sunday night group in Gig Harbor. Sermon-based group. Adults only.

Ron and Ruth Martin — Saturday night group on Raft Island. Bible study on the parables of Jesus. Adults only.

John and Cindi Pleau — Friday night group in Gig Harbor. Reading Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas. Adults only.

Jim and Arlene Ramsey — Sunday afternoon (after 1st service) group on Fox Island. Sermon-based group.  High school and older.
